Roborock P30 Pro and G30S Ultra: 41,000 Pa suction and hot-water mopping

Roborock has launched two new robot vacuums in China, the P30 Pro and G30S Ultra, both designed for fully automatic dry and wet cleaning. The newcomers come in two configurations: a standard version with a water tank or a version with a dual water supply system. Both models share a slim 8.98 cm body height, which makes them suitable for cleaning under low furniture.

The flagship G30S Ultra features a wet mopping system that heats water up to 75 °C and delivers a maximum suction power of 41,000 Pa. The P30 Pro is slightly less powerful in suction terms at 40,000 Pa, but it makes up for that with a broader range of cleaning temperatures. It can mop floors with water heated to 60 °C, wash its roller with water up to 100 °C, and dry the roller with hot air at 63 °C to prevent odor and bacteria buildup.

Both robots rely on the Stone Hot Wave pressure-washing system, which uses a 270 mm roller designed to treat fabric surfaces with hot water. According to the company, the self-cleaning and sterilization rate reaches 99.99%. The main parts of the wet mopping module, including the clean and dirty water tanks, can be quickly detached for maintenance.

For navigation, the devices use an AI-based obstacle recognition system that can identify more than 300 types of objects, including furniture, toys, and pets, adjusting the cleaning path in real time. The robots also run the RRMind GPT language model, which understands natural voice commands. A dedicated Pet Mode 3.0 helps the vacuum locate pets around the home and automatically take photos of them.

Pricing for the Roborock P30 Pro starts at 4,299 yuan for the water tank version and goes up to 4,699 yuan for the model with the water jet system. The price of the G30S Ultra has not been disclosed in the announcement, but given its higher specifications, it is expected to cost more than the P30 Pro.
