ChipBrief ("we", "us") operates the website chipbrief.com. This page explains what information we collect and how it is used.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to register and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details. Our hosting provider records standard technical data for every visit — IP address, browser type, referring page and time of request — which is used to keep the site running and to measure traffic in aggregate.
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type there. We use them only to answer you.
Cookies and advertising
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Analytics
We use aggregated traffic statistics provided by our hosting platform. These do not identify individual readers.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you and request its deletion. Write to editor@chipbrief.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
