MSI’s $1099 32-inch QD-OLED monitor gets a flat panel and Gen 5 tandem tech

MSI has refreshed its QD-OLED gaming monitor lineup with the introduction of the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24, a $1099 model that builds on last year's MPG 322URX 240 Hz variant. The new monitor incorporates the same OLED Care 3.0 technology previously tested on the MPG 271QD X50, along with a fifth-generation Tandem QD-OLED panel that was first seen on curved UWQHD displays like the MPG 341CQR X36.

The MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 features a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED panel housed in a 32-inch chassis with a flat-panel design. MSI emphasizes that the flat form factor is a deliberate choice, offering an alternative to the increasingly common curved panels that dominate the current market. The screen comes with a glossy finish and includes the company's DarkArmo technology.

This launch expands MSI's OLED portfolio to 17 models across 27, 32, 34, and 49-inch sizes. The company notes that the new lineup uses improved panels and upgraded displays, and includes both flat and curved options. The MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 is positioned as a premium 32-inch offering within the gaming-oriented MPG series, which sits below the high-end MEG tier and above the entry-level MAG and budget G-Series.

Full performance testing, including color accuracy, response times, and ergonomics, will be covered in a detailed review.
