Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active launches at $23: ultra-light but no AMOLED

Xiaomi has quietly released the Smart Band 11 Active, now available on AliExpress starting at 2,064 rubles (approximately $23). The device comes in two color options: gray and black. For context, the previous Smart Band 10 cost around 3,500–4,000 rubles in its global version, making the 11 Active a deliberately more affordable entry point with a stripped-down feature set.

The fitness tracker weighs just 16.5 grams and measures 10.2 mm in thickness. The plastic body feels budget-friendly but neat, while the soft strap and standard buckle are comfortable for all-day wear. The band is light enough to be barely noticeable during sleep, which is a key advantage for sleep tracking.

The display is a 1.47-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320×172 pixels. It is not an AMOLED panel but a simpler LCD-type screen, which keeps the cost low. Image quality is adequate for the price point — sharp enough for notifications and basic stats, but lacking the vibrant colors and deep blacks of more expensive models.

Core features include step counting, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. The band syncs with the Xiaomi Mi Fitness app, which is available on both Android and iOS. Battery life is rated at up to 14 days on a single charge, depending on usage intensity.

The Smart Band 11 Active is already shipping from AliExpress directly to buyers in Russia. It is aimed at users who want a basic fitness tracker for the lowest possible price, without paying extra for premium features like AMOLED, GPS, or NFC. Xiaomi continues its strategy of offering tiered products in the Smart Band lineup, with the Active series serving as the entry-level option.
