Citizen launches $575 Promaster Seahawk watch inspired by the Sikorsky MH-60R helicopter

Citizen has unveiled a new special-edition diver's watch created in partnership with American aircraft maker Sikorsky. The BN0207-06H model draws inspiration from the MH-60R search-and-rescue helicopter and takes a more restrained approach compared to the duo's earlier collaborations.
Previous joint projects resulted in two pilot-style Nighthawk watches with busy dials packed with cockpit-inspired details. The new timepiece, by contrast, has a tactical, minimalist look. The case is made of gray titanium with Duratect hardening, and the monochrome gray-and-black palette is broken only by a bright orange seconds hand.
The watch features a 43.5mm Super Titanium case, shatter-resistant mineral crystal, and a unidirectional rotating black bezel. The matte gray dial carries oversized luminous markers and broad hands for easy reading underwater and in low light. A date window sits at the 3 o'clock position.
The screw-down caseback is engraved with an illustration of the MH-60R, the words "SEARCH AND RESCUE," and the Sikorsky logo. Power comes from the Eco-Drive caliber E168, which charges from any light source and never needs a battery replacement.
The timepiece is ISO-certified as a diver's watch and water-resistant to 200 meters. It ships in a gray Promaster tackle box with orange latches.
Sales began today in the US at $575 via Citizen's online store. Availability in other markets has not been announced.
