Viking city builder Land of the Vikings drops to $6.49 with 75% Steam discount

Land of the Vikings, a city-building and survival game set in the Viking Age, is currently 75% off on Steam. Until August 17, 2026, the game is available for $6.49 instead of the regular $25.99, according to SteamDB. The title was developed by Laps Games.

The gameplay combines settlement construction with survival mechanics. Players must grow their village into a thriving city by gathering resources such as wood and ore, as well as hunting and fishing to feed the inhabitants. Each villager has a unique personality with more than 20 different traits, which affect how well they perform assigned tasks.

As the settlement expands, new residents arrive, and players can choose to welcome them or turn them away. Trading with neighboring towns provides access to valuable resources. The world, however, is dangerous, with earthquakes, blizzards, and harsh winters posing constant threats. Players can also raid other villages for gold and recruit Viking heroes to assist them later.
