Titan Quest II early access adds crafting and Spirit Mastery with 26 passive skills

The isometric action RPG Titan Quest II has received a major update, version 0.7.0, now available to all players in early access on Steam and EGS. The patch from Grimlore Games brings the project closer to full release and introduces two key mechanics: a new character progression branch and a crafting system.

The main addition is the Spirit Mastery branch, which unlocks abilities tied to the realm of the dead. A hero can summon spirits, manipulate enemies, and cast other spells. Players get ten active skills and 26 passive effects. Like other branches in Titan Quest II, Spirit can be combined with any other to create unique builds.

Crafting in the sequel works differently than in the 2005 original. In the first game, players could only create artifacts and enhance gear with them. In Titan Quest II, players can modify the stats of found items and add affixes to tailor equipment to current needs. This requires specific items and "recipes."

The developers also made a number of global changes, including increasing character movement speed. The full patch notes are available on the game's Steam page. Titan Quest II entered early access last August and has since received several major updates.
