Test IT 5.8 Fornax connects AI agents to test base via MCP, live demo on August 11

The Test IT 5.8 Fornax release changes how AI tools interact with project documentation. Instead of manually copying test cases into a chat and transferring responses back, the platform now uses MCP — a protocol that directly links an AI agent to the test library, requirements, and run data. A live demo of the new features will take place during an open webinar on August 11 at 14:00 Moscow time.
The developers will show how MCP Test IT works in real scenarios and walk through typical tasks that can be handled while managing test documentation and quality control. A mini-testing session is planned to help attendees gauge how much the integration speeds up processes and improves product quality. Participants will also see the redesigned interface for automated test runs: experts will explain the problems solved by the overhaul, how error categories are now grouped, and what benefits this brings to teams.
The announcement targets development and testing leads seeking ways to adopt AI without complicating existing workflows, as well as specialists handling large test suites who want to cut manual effort. The agenda also includes quick project template assembly for a specific technology stack and an open Q&A session with the product team.
A separate segment will cover how the platform simplifies testing oversight for department heads and business owners. According to the authors, Test IT helps evaluate process quality faster, pinpoint bottlenecks, and make informed decisions, while saving teams time on report preparation.
