Spider-Man 3 from Insomniac spotted on IMDB: release unlikely before 2027

Insomniac Games, which is preparing Wolverine for a September launch, is also working on the next Spider-Man adventure. The fan account SpiderManCD found an IMDB listing for a project called Marvel's Spider-Man 3 with a status of "in production."

According to the published details, key figures from the previous installments are returning, including Bryan Intihar and Ryan Smith, while Yuri Lowenthal will once again voice Peter Parker. Insomniac has not made an official announcement yet, but the IMDB status suggests the project has moved past pre-production.

No other information is available on the page, including a release window. However, based on the series' history — the first game launched in September 2018 and the second in October 2023 — the third title could arrive no earlier than September or October 2027. The release might slip to 2028 as well, since Insomniac is reportedly also working on a standalone Venom game that is expected to follow Wolverine.

As for platforms, a PC version of Spider-Man 3 is unlikely in the near future. Sony has decided to limit the number of first-party titles released on other platforms, including PC. For the same reason, Wolverine will remain a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
