SAMA S50 Black case moves the PSU sideways — and that's the point

SAMA has introduced the S50 Black chassis with an unusual two-chamber layout: instead of being mounted at the bottom or top of the motherboard, the power supply sits beside it. A similar approach was recently used by DeepCool in its panoramic-glass models, but SAMA adopted the design for a different reason — not to show off the internals, but to keep the case compact without sacrificing interior space or cooling efficiency.

The S50 Black ships in a standard rectangular box made of dense brown cardboard, with carry handles cut into the ends. A paper label on the front identifies the product, while one of the side panels carries the full list of technical specifications.

Inside, the case is protected by two foam inserts and wrapped in a polyethylene bag to keep dust away. This is the typical level of protection for budget and mid-range enclosures, although the review notes that molded polyethylene shells would do a better job of safeguarding the chassis and wouldn't leave behind the fine debris that foam tends to shed.

The bundle includes an assembly manual, a warranty card, a bag of screws, standoffs and plastic cable ties, plus three Velcro-style straps for cable management.

The SAMA S50 Black is priced at 6,899 rubles in Russian retail stores.
