Rolls-Royce outsells Renault and Tesla in Russia with 143 cars in seven months

Ultra-luxury brands have outpaced several mass-market marques in Russian sales. Between January and July 2026, Rolls-Royce sold 143 new cars, while Renault managed just 36 and Tesla 89. The figures were reported by Sergei Tselikov, head of the Autostat analytics agency.
Among brands familiar to Russian consumers, Opel, Jaguar and Alfa Romeo posted the worst results with six cars each. Acura fared slightly better with seven vehicles, and Fiat sold nine. Peugeot found 21 buyers over the same period, Citroen 85, and Hyundai's Genesis brand 127.
For comparison, Bentley shifted 124 units in seven months, while Lamborghini sold 120. All three British and Italian marques thus outsold brands that were once popular in Russia.
Tselikov noted that the statistics include other marques with even lower sales, but most of them are little-known Chinese or rare American brands. The ranking only covers manufacturers that Russian buyers recognize well.
