Motorola’s Moto Snap magnetic charger ditches bulky docks for a flat, click-on design

Motorola is preparing to launch a new accessory for its smartphones — the Moto Snap magnetic wireless charger. The device is expected to expand the company's mobile ecosystem, which already includes MotoPad tablets and Moto Buds headphones.
Unlike the current wireless charger that holds the phone at an angle on a stand, the Moto Snap features a flat, round design. The casing is minimalist, with the brand logo on top, and the charger connects via a USB-C port.
The accessory attaches to the back of a smartphone using built-in magnets. When the coils align, a distinct click confirms the connection. This design allows users to continue using the phone while it charges.
An official launch for the Moto Snap has not been announced yet, but leaks from August 19 suggest an imminent release. Earlier, images of the Motorola Watch Ultra smartwatch and MotoPad 70 tablets surfaced online. Sources also indicate that the company is developing smart glasses as part of its broader accessory lineup.
