Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 hits 60% off on Steam — Royal Edition with all DLCs costs $32

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the open-world medieval RPG that holds a 93% positive rating on Steam, is now available at a 60% discount as part of the platform's Weeklong Sale running through August 24. The base game is priced at $23.99, down from $59.99, matching its lowest recorded price. However, the more attractive option is the Royal Edition at $31.99, reduced from $79.99. This bundle, previously sold as the Gold Edition, includes all three story expansions: Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge, and Mysteria Ecclesiae, the last of which was released in November 2025. The expansion pass is now complete, meaning there is no upcoming content to wait for — a rare advantage for a discounted RPG.
Released in February 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has aged remarkably well. It boasts 93% positive reviews from over 192,000 user ratings on Steam and holds an OpenCritic Top Critic Average of 89. Sales surpassed 6 million copies by June 2026, following an impressive launch that saw over 1 million copies sold within the first 24 hours. While the original game still leads the franchise with over 10 million copies sold, the sequel has proven itself a worthy successor.
Free post-launch updates have introduced a hardcore mode that disables autosaving and forces negative starting traits, along with horse racing and barber-shop customization. On the hardware side, the game is more forgiving than its reputation suggests: minimum requirements include a GTX 1060 or RX 580, a Ryzen 5 2600 or Core i5-8400, 16 GB of RAM, and 100 GB of SSD space. As of writing, roughly 11,000 players were active in the game on Steam.
