Dell's 43-inch conference monitor packs an 8MP AI webcam and 100W USB-C charging

Dell has introduced the Pro P 43, a massive 43-inch monitor designed as an all-in-one solution for conference rooms. The company built four conference-specific features directly into the display, turning it into a complete video meeting hub.

The integrated 8-megapixel HDR webcam relies on a Sony Starvis sensor and offers an ultra-wide 120-degree field of view, which is meant to capture everyone seated around the table. Artificial intelligence automatically adjusts the framing to keep participants in view, while a mechanical shutter protects privacy when the camera is not in use. For audio, Dell equipped the monitor with four beamforming microphones featuring AI-based noise reduction, so voices from any direction come through with equal clarity. A soundbar beneath the panel houses two 8-watt speakers for playback.

Connectivity is another strong point. A USB-C port supports laptop charging at up to 100 watts, allowing users to link their computer to the monitor with a single cable. The built-in hub adds two USB-A ports and a Gigabit Ethernet connector, while HDMI and USB-B inputs offer alternative ways to hook up a PC.

The display itself is a 43-inch IPS panel with 3,840 x 2,160 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate and 350 nits of brightness. It covers 99 percent of the sRGB color space. The included stand is height-adjustable, and users who prefer to save desk space can wall-mount the monitor using either VESA 100 x 100 or 200 x 200 patterns.
