BESV e-bike with 90 Nm Bosch motor and 150 km range costs €4,499

BESV has introduced the CT-B 1.0 Low Step, a classic trekking e-bike built for daily city commutes and long-distance rides. The model uses a fifth-generation Bosch Performance PX mid-drive motor with 90 Nm of torque and a removable 800 Wh battery integrated into the frame. The manufacturer claims a maximum range of up to 150 km.
The bike comes fully equipped for everyday use, including front and rear mudguards, integrated lighting, a luggage rack, and a factory-installed frame lock. Instead of a conventional chain, power is transferred via a carbon belt drive, while shifting relies on a 5-speed Shimano internal hub. Five gears might seem limited on paper, but the motor easily makes up for it in real-world riding. In typical trekking style, the e-bike has a suspension fork but no rear shock absorber. Stopping power is handled by hydraulic disc brakes.
At 30.5 kg, the CT-B 1.0 is fairly heavy, yet its maximum gross weight rating stands at 160 kg, leaving nearly 130 kg of payload capacity for the rider and cargo. The BESV CT-B 1.0 Low Step is available directly from the manufacturer for €4,499. BESV operates in European markets as well as several international regions.
