Bambu Lab A2L brings large-format 3D printing to $469 with a 330×320 mm build volume

Bambu Lab has unveiled the A2L, a large-format 3D printer that expands on the popular A1 model. The device features a build volume of 330 x 320 x 325 mm, enabling the creation of oversized parts that were previously limited to premium-tier machines. The printer is aimed at cosplay enthusiasts and operators of small print farms.
The A2L is powered by a PMSM servo-driven extruder and supports the AMS Lite multi-color printing system. Its open-frame design simplifies setup and operation but results in larger overall dimensions and increased weight. A notable limitation is the printer's support for only basic filament types.
The base version is priced at $469 (approximately 40,000 rubles), while the Combo bundle costs $569 (around 48,000 rubles). While the technological upgrades over the A1 are not dramatic, the manufacturer has focused on reliability and consistent performance. The key selling point remains the large print area, which removes the size constraints that often frustrate users of the smaller A1 model, particularly when printing costumes, large models, or scalable prototypes.
