CMF's Buds Neo launch set for August 20 — three colors and a signature smart dial

CMF, the sub-brand of Nothing, has officially announced the name and launch date for its next audio product. The new earbuds will be called the Buds Neo, not the CMF Buds 3 as previously speculated. The company shared the news via a post on X, accompanied by a teaser video that reveals the product's design and color options.

According to the teaser, the Buds Neo will be available in three colors at launch: a silver version with orange eartips, a blue variant, and a black option. The video also showcases the charging case, which features a smart dial—a signature design element for CMF earbuds. The dial's color matches the eartips: orange for the silver model, cyan for the blue, and black for the black version.

The Buds Neo will be released in India on August 20, as confirmed by Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing. The exact pricing and positioning within CMF's earbuds lineup remain undisclosed, but the Buds Neo are expected to be more affordable than the current flagship, the Buds Pro 2, which is available for around $39 on Amazon. More details are likely to emerge closer to the official launch date.
