Anker Prime 160W dock with 14 ports drops to $170 — 37% off on Amazon

Amazon is currently offering a 37% discount on the Anker Prime 160W docking station, bringing its price down to just under $170. The deal slashes $100 off the original retail price of the device, which boasts an impressive 14-port setup and a total power output of 160 W.
The dock features three USB-C ports, each capable of delivering up to 100 W of power delivery. A single USB-A port is also included, providing up to 12 W of output. The full array of I/O ports is as follows: two USB-C ports at 10 Gbps, one USB-A port at 10 Gbps, one USB-C upstream port, three USB-A ports at 480 Mbps, a Gigabit Ethernet port, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
For dual-monitor setups, the Anker Prime dock supports up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz per display on Windows systems, leveraging DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC). On Macs, however, the dual-monitor output is limited to 4K at 30 Hz per display. When using a single monitor with a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, both Windows and Mac systems can achieve 4K at 60 Hz.
The docking station measures approximately 5.5 by 3.8 by 1.9 inches (14 by 9.7 by 4.7 cm) and weighs around 888 grams (roughly 2 lbs). This weight is expected given its extensive capabilities and robust build.
TechRadar reviewed the Anker Prime dock and was largely impressed by its performance and feature set. Reviewers found little to complain about, though they noted that the absence of a microSD card slot could be a dealbreaker for users whose workflows rely on such storage. Despite this omission, the dock remains a strong contender in the high-performance docking station market, especially at this discounted price.
