Amazon Luna adds two free games for Prime subscribers

Amazon Prime subscribers now have access to two new free games through the cloud gaming service Luna. These are the first additions to this month's lineup, and both titles can be permanently claimed if users act before the respective deadlines.

The first addition is Hiveswap Friendsim, a story-driven visual novel set in the Homestuck and Hiveswap universe. Players control an unnamed protagonist who crash-lands on the dangerous alien world of Alternia and must survive while making friends among the local trolls. The game features a dark comedic tone and is structured as episodic content that expands the world of Hiveswap. The journey takes the character through underground clubs and grand mansions, where they encounter a unique cast of characters.

The second game, Right and Down, blends roguelike gameplay, dungeon crawling, and deck-building mechanics. Control is limited to just two buttons: right and down, but that doesn't make it simple. Each dungeon is randomly generated, forcing players to carefully plan every move: either avoid dangerous enemies or fight them for valuable rewards while collecting artifacts that unlock new abilities and strategies.

Right and Down includes six playable heroes, over 100 artifacts to discover, and nine unique dungeons, each introducing new mechanics and increasing difficulty. Thanks to procedural generation, every run differs from the last, offering plenty of replay value for fans of strategy-focused roguelikes.

Both games are available to Prime members through Amazon Luna at no extra cost. Right and Down can be claimed for free until September 5, while Hiveswap Friendsim remains available until September 9. Once added to the library, the games stay with the user forever.
