Xiaomi unveils first TV with RGB-Mini LED backlight, pre-orders come with free speaker worth ¥1399

Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition, marking the company's first television to feature RGB-Mini LED backlight technology. Pre-orders for the new model opened simultaneously, running from August 22, 2026, to September 1, 2026. Customers can reserve the TV at Xiaomi Home stores for a deposit of 100 yuan.

Those who place a pre-order will receive a free Xiaomi TV Speaker 3.1 sound system, valued at 1399 yuan, along with a quarterly membership card for the Xiaomi Video VIP program, worth 148 yuan.

RGB-Mini LED is an advanced backlight technology for LCD screens. Instead of conventional white or blue LEDs, it employs thousands of microscopic chips in three primary colors: red (R), green (G), and blue (B). This design allows the display to independently control both brightness and precise color composition in each individual zone, resulting in improved color accuracy and contrast compared to standard Mini LED or traditional LED backlighting.
