Vivo Y31T 5G debuts with 7200 mAh battery, IP69 rating, and just 4 GB of RAM

Vivo has unveiled the Y31T 5G, a budget smartphone that prioritizes battery capacity and water resistance over performance. The price has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be low.
The base model comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, though a 6 GB RAM variant is also available. The device is powered by the entry-level Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The display is a 6.75-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The main camera is a 50 MP sensor, paired with a 2 MP depth sensor for bokeh effects, effectively making it a single rear camera setup. On the upside, the Y31T 5G packs a massive 7200 mAh battery with 44 W wired charging and offers IP69 water resistance, a rare feature in this price segment.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, and three color options: red, light gold, and Seashore Green. The smartphone weighs 219 grams, which is quite heavy due to the large battery and display.
