Ukraine's TerMIT 2.0 combat robots to be built in Finland under new joint venture

Ukrainian defense company Tencore and Finnish technology firm Insta have signed a joint statement of intent to establish a joint venture for manufacturing Ukrainian TerMIT 2.0 unmanned ground vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The document was signed on August 23 in the presence of the Presidents of Ukraine and Finland.
The joint venture will operate under a distributed model, engaging Finnish industrial partners. Tencore explained that this approach would create additional secure production sites outside Ukraine, accelerating the delivery of robotic systems to the front lines. The initial production target is set at 320 TerMIT 2.0 units.
The TerMIT is a multi-functional unmanned ground vehicle designed for logistics, evacuation, mine-laying, fire support, and other combat tasks. In September last year, Tencore unveiled the upgraded TerMIT 2.0 with double the performance of its predecessor. The vehicle's operational range increased from 20 to 40 kilometers, while its top speed rose from 7–8 km/h to 15 km/h. Over the past year, the company has delivered more than 2,000 robotic systems to the military.
Earlier, Tencore also signed a memorandum of understanding with Danish company Copenhagen Global A/S. The agreement focuses on joint efforts to help the Ukrainian manufacturer enter the Danish institutional procurement market.
