Supreme and Analogue launch a gold Pocket — and it will cost much more than $239.99

The Analogue Pocket, a retro handheld designed after the Nintendo Game Boy, has been consistently sold out despite its $239.99 price tag. Rather than restocking the standard white or black models, Analogue has partnered with Supreme to release a limited edition version as part of the Supreme Fall/Winter 2026 collection.
Supreme has not yet disclosed the exact launch date or the number of units that will be produced. What is known is that buyers will have two choices: an aluminum unibody case with a glossy red finish, or a gold-plated version. Both are expected to cost significantly more than the standard model. The internal hardware remains unchanged, keeping the same FPGA-based chip that runs original Nintendo Game Boy cartridges natively, without emulation.
The Analogue Pocket is designed to offer a more authentic gaming experience than cheaper alternatives like the Anbernic RG35XX Pro, which sells for around $73 on Amazon. It features an operating system that can manage save files and supports Bluetooth gamepads. The display has a resolution of 1,600 x 1,440 pixels, exactly ten times that of the Nintendo Game Boy Color on each axis. Further specifications are available on the official product page.
