Stick It to the Stickman leaves Early Access on September 23, price jumps to $12

Publisher Devolver Digital and South African studio Free Lives, the team behind Broforce, Terra Nil, and Anger Foot, have announced the release date for the full version of their corporate action game Stick It to the Stickman. The title will leave Steam Early Access on September 23 and will cost $12 instead of the current $7.

Stick It to the Stickman entered Early Access last summer. Since then, the game has received several major updates, sold 150,000 copies, and was originally slated for a full release in 2026. Along with the announcement, the developers dropped a fresh gameplay trailer and launched a 30% discount on the game that runs until August 21.

The 1.0 version will introduce two new modes — Neurolink and A Grand Final Mode — complete the story and bring performance optimizations. The previously planned Rise of the Machines and Marketing Department modes have been cut, with the team citing mental health concerns for the staff. The developers joked that they can no longer blame bugs and performance issues on Early Access and will now have to point fingers at, among other things, players' 4 GB of RAM.

Stick It to the Stickman currently holds a 96% positive rating on Steam. The game casts players as an office worker fighting through colleagues, middle managers, and executives while learning powerful "business techniques" on the way to becoming the CEO of the worst company in America. It blends platforming, action, roguelike elements, and strategy with realistic physics, rivers of blood, corporate satire, and both local and online co-op. The full release is set to hit Steam on September 23, bringing the promised content and polish to the chaotic corporate carnage.
