SpaceXAI launches Grok Bot: cloud AI agent works across apps without user's PC

SpaceXAI has unveiled Grok Bot, a service offering a team of always-on AI agents that handle tasks on the user's behalf. Unlike local solutions, the agent runs on a cloud PC and can sign in to websites and apps just like a regular person, including services without API or MCP integration. Once launched in the cloud, the agent keeps working even when the user's computer is turned off.

Grok Bot lets users create multiple agents for different jobs and place them in the same conversation. The bots share context, assign subtasks to each other, and work in parallel. To set up, a user simply shows the agent how to complete a task once — it saves the process as a routine and repeats it later. Agents also remember preferences and past decisions across conversations.

SpaceXAI said it already uses Grok Bot internally for sales outreach, marketing campaigns, invoice processing, recruiting, CRM updates, and reproducing and fixing software bugs.

The service is available in beta on desktop and iOS for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers. Cursor Ultra costs $200 per month, while Cursor Teams Premium costs $120 per user per month. Enterprise customers can join a waitlist for future access.

Grok Bot follows a growing trend of autonomous AI agents. In June, Microsoft introduced Scout, a personal agent in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app that works with user context. The popular OpenClaw tool lets users run a persistent assistant on their own device with access to apps and files.
