SpaceXAI and Cursor launch Grok Bot — an AI agent that does real work for you

SpaceXAI and Cursor, which are in the process of merging into a single company, have jointly released a new app called Grok Bot for iPhone and Mac. The companies describe it as a new kind of AI agent — "AI teammates you can give real work to."

Each Bot gets its own dedicated virtual computer, then signs into the apps and services the user already relies on. The agent can complete tasks end to end, only returning to the human when approval is needed. Users can message the bot "like a colleague," according to SpaceXAI. The agent remembers past conversations, learns user preferences, and improves its performance over time with more use.

Grok Bot launched in beta today on Mac and iOS. Desktop versions for Windows and Linux are also available. An Android version is listed as coming soon. Initially, access is restricted to subscribers of the SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium plans.

After 10 days, SpaceXAI expanded access to the app. According to observers, SpaceXAI and Cursor have designed an approachable system for using agentic AI that other companies should consider following. The app represents a practical step toward delegating real-world tasks to autonomous software agents, integrating directly with existing tools and workflows.
