Segway launches three new electric rides for kids, priced from $180 to $450

Segway has introduced three new electric rideables for children: the C2 Go electric kick scooter, the C2 SE Sam's Club-exclusive e-scooter, and the S2 Kids self-balancing scooter. All three models are designed for young riders and offer a range of up to about 8 miles (13 km) per charge at a top speed of 10 mph (16 km/h).

The C2 Go is the entry-level model, weighing 17 lbs (7.7 kg) and featuring 256-color RGB under-board lighting. It is intended for children ages 6 through 10 who weigh up to 110 lbs (50 kg). The scooter rolls on 7-inch tires and folds for convenient storage. Priced at $179.99, the C2 Go will be available starting September 8, 2026, through the Segway online store and authorized dealers.

The C2 SE is a slightly heavier variant at 19.2 lbs (8.7 kg) and is available exclusively at Sam's Club stores across the United States for $199.98. While it shares the same range and maximum speed as the C2 Go, it supports a higher maximum payload of 121 lbs (55 kg) and lacks the under-board RGB lighting. Only Sam's Club members can purchase this model.

The S2 Kids self-balancing scooter is the largest and most feature-rich of the trio. Weighing 23.8 lbs (10.8 kg), it uses a hoverboard design with a knee-pole that young riders can grip for extra stability while learning. The unit includes front and rear lights for safety, RGB accent lighting, an LED dashboard, and voice prompts. It also functions as a Bluetooth speaker. The S2 Kids can carry riders up to 132 lbs (60 kg) and is available for pre-order at $449.99 through the Segway online store and authorized dealers.
