Redmi K100 Pro Max outsells predecessor by 50% on launch day

Xiaomi's new flagship outperformed its predecessor from the very first hours of sales. According to company president Lu Weibing, first-day sales of the Redmi K100 Pro Max reached 150% of the result posted by the previous model on its launch day.

The device features a flat 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2608 by 1200 pixels and a 185 Hz refresh rate. The panel is built on M11 material. The main camera uses a 200-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization, complemented by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel ultrawide module.

The battery capacity is 9070 mAh, with 16% silicon used in the cell composition. Wired charging supports 100 W, wireless charging supports 50 W. Reverse charging is also available: 27 W over cable and 22.5 W without wires.

Despite the large battery, the handset measures 8.45 mm thick and weighs 238 g. The rear panel is made of fiberglass. The phone is protected against water and dust to IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards, features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and runs HyperOS 3.0. Data transfer is handled by a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, and audio is delivered through a 2.1-channel setup with Bose speakers.
