Fairphone 6+ with 12GB RAM and blue finish leaks ahead of launch

The Fairphone 6+ smartphone with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage appeared in databases on August 10. Marketing images of the device followed shortly after, confirming its design and a new color option. The memory bump looks unusual amid rising component prices.
According to the leaked photos, the handset will come in three finishes: Cobalt Blue, Horizon Black, and Forest Green. The leak shows the blue variant. The exterior and dimensions match the previous model exactly, with all changes hidden inside.
Three official accessories also appeared in the shots: a finger loop strap, a protective case, and a card holder. They are fully compatible with the previous generation — no magnetic mounts like MagSafe, as the parts screw onto the chassis. The maker stays true to its modular design, which requires just a standard screwdriver.
Finished promotional materials usually suggest an official announcement is imminent. The company refreshes its main lineup every two years: the base Fairphone 6 launched in 2025 at €599 (about 57,000 rubles). The Plus version with extra storage is expected to cost around €650 (roughly 62,000 rubles). The next-generation Fairphone 7 is not expected until 2027 at the earliest.
