PS5 Gets Wolverine Limited Edition With Yellow Shell and Claw Slashes

Sony has announced a PS5 Digital Edition bundle tied to the upcoming exclusive Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games. The limited Battle Yellow edition will launch globally, featuring a bright yellow finish with claw marks cut through the console's shell. The bundle also includes a matching DualSense wireless controller with the same slashed design.

Scottish graphic artist Jock, who created the game's key art, designed the look. He said he still draws traditionally and was impressed by how well the hardware captured the energy of hand-drawn ink. Insomniac game director Marcus Smith added that Jock's illustrations fit the raw, kinetic nature of a hero whose main interaction with the world is through unbreakable adamantium claws.

For owners of existing PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro consoles, Sony will sell replacement panels separately. The Battle Yellow version fits both models, with or without a disc drive. Another option, the Adamantium Limited Edition, is exclusive to the PS5 Pro: its metallic finish draws inspiration from the adamantium fused to Logan's skeleton, with claw-slashed details on the shell. A matching DualSense controller with the same metal look will also be sold individually.

The panels will be available through the PlayStation website in limited quantities, and at select retailers outside those regions. Sony has not yet disclosed pricing for the bundles or accessories.
