Polaroid teams up with Pokémon for limited-edition cameras shaped like Pikachu, Sylveon, and a Poké Ball

Polaroid and The Pokémon Company have announced a limited-edition collection of instant cameras, film packs, and accessories designed to resemble popular Pokémon characters, including Pikachu, Sylveon, and a Poké Ball.

The lineup includes the Polaroid Now Generation 3 — Pokémon Edition, a camera shaped like a Poké Ball priced at $139.99. Two smaller models are available: the Polaroid Go Generation 3 — Pokémon Pikachu Edition and the Polaroid Go Generation 3 — Pokémon Sylveon Edition, each costing $99.99. For film, the collection offers Polaroid i‑Type Color Film — Pokémon Edition at $22.99, as well as double packs of Polaroid Go Color Film for both the Pikachu and Sylveon editions, each at $24.99. Accessories include a Polaroid Go Camera Case — Pokémon Edition ($24.99), a Polaroid Go Photo Album — Pokémon Edition ($24.99), and a camera strap compatible with both camera models ($14.99).

Mathieu Galante, Senior Director of Licensing at The Pokémon Company International, stated that the collaboration feels like a natural extension of the brand's values, encouraging fans to capture meaningful moments in their own way and turn cherished memories into tangible keepsakes.

The Polaroid x Pokémon collection will be released in limited quantities worldwide. Pre-orders open on August 25 via the Pokémon Center online store and polaroid.com, with the official launch scheduled for October 5, 2026.
