Narwal Freo 20 brings flagship mopping, 31,000 Pa suction, and a price that undercuts rivals

Narwal has launched the Freo 20, the most advanced robot vacuum in its Freo lineup, positioning it as a high-end cleaning solution at a more accessible price point. The device is available starting this week.

The standout feature of the Narwal Freo 20 is the FlowWash mopping system. Unlike conventional robot mops that drag a static cloth across the floor, FlowWash uses a wider track mop that is continuously cleaned and refreshed with hot water as the robot moves. The mop also applies downward pressure to ensure thorough dirt removal. According to Narwal, this design covers roughly seven times more surface area per pass compared to standard mops. The key advantage is that it prevents dirty water and debris from being pushed to the sides — a common issue with many robot mops that often requires additional cleaning cycles. The FlowWash system has been previously reviewed on Narwal's flagship model, where it demonstrated strong performance.

Beyond mopping, the Freo 20 packs 31,000 Pa of suction power, placing it on par with some of the best robot vacuums currently on the market. To reduce maintenance, Narwal equipped the device with its DualFlow Tangle-Free system, which minimizes hair tangles around the brush. The robot also features extendable mop and brush mounts that reach into corners more effectively, ensuring a more complete clean.

The Narwal Freo 20 delivers a flagship-tier mopping experience and overall cleaning capability for hundreds of dollars less than rival premium models. This makes it an attractive option for users who want top-tier performance without the top-tier price tag. The combination of powerful suction, advanced mopping, and tangle-free design positions the Freo 20 as a strong contender in the mid-premium segment of the robot vacuum market.
