Moto Pad 70 launches in India: 12.1-inch 5G tablet with 68W charging from $357

Motorola has officially introduced the Moto Pad 70, revealing full details on configurations, pricing, and sales availability. The device was previously teased, but final specs and India pricing are now confirmed.

The tablet sports a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. In High Brightness Mode the screen reaches 800 nits, covering 96% of the DCI-P3 color space. Power comes from 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage in 128 GB or 256 GB options, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB.

The rear camera packs a 13 MP sensor with autofocus and Full HD video recording, while the front shooter has 8 MP. The chassis carries an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance. A Moto Pen stylus ships in the box, featuring 4,096 pressure levels, tilt detection, and palm rejection. An optional Moto Folio Keyboard connects through pogo pins.

The Moto Pad 70 runs Android 16 with Motorola's Smart Connect for linking to smartphones and PCs. It also includes four Dolby Atmos speakers, 5G support, and a 10,200 mAh battery with 68 W charging, matching the Moto Pad 70 Groove. Several key specs align with the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus, already familiar in global markets.

The base 8/128 GB model is priced at INR 33,999 (~$357), while the 8/256 GB version costs INR 36,999 (~$389). Both come in Pantone Sea Angel. Sales begin August 15 via Flipkart and Motorola's website, with an instant discount of up to INR 5,000 (~$53) for selected cardholders during the launch period.
