HMD 2760 Flip ditches KaiOS for Android 13 Go, bringing Google Play to a clamshell

HMD is preparing to launch a new clamshell phone, the HMD 2760 Flip, which will replace its predecessor unveiled at MWC. The most significant change is the shift to Icon OS 13, based on Android 13 Go, instead of the previous KaiOS platform. This move grants users access to the Google Play Store and a wider range of applications.
According to recent leaks, the device supports 4G networks and features two displays: a main 2.8-inch LCD screen and a smaller 1.77-inch external display. Performance is handled by a Unisoc T310 chipset. The phone comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.
The camera setup is basic: a 5 MP rear sensor and a VGA front-facing camera. A 2500 mAh battery powers the device, and charging is done via a USB Type-C port. A classic 3.5 mm headphone jack is also retained.
For connectivity, the HMD 2760 Flip supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and can function as a mobile hotspot. Insiders also note the presence of a touch panel on the device's body. The clamshell will be available in three color options: black, blue, and pink, maintaining a traditional design aesthetic.
