Epomaker GX1 Wireless Headset Launches at $50 with ENC, RGB, and 50 mm Drivers

Epomaker, a brand primarily recognized for its mechanical keyboards such as the Luma40, has been expanding into the broader gaming peripherals market. After introducing gaming mice, the company is now launching its first wireless gaming headset, the GX1. The headset is available directly from Epomaker's online store with an MSRP of $49.99.
The GX1 is an open-back over-ear design featuring 50 mm dynamic drivers that deliver a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. For audio input, the headset includes two microphone options: a detachable boom microphone with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for clearer in-game communication, and a built-in microphone for more basic conversations when the boom mic is not attached.
Comfort has been addressed with a headband that offers seven levels of adjustment to accommodate different head sizes. Epomaker states that the ear cups are designed to promote airflow, although the company has not specified the material used for the ear pads. A notable visual feature is the customizable RGB lighting on the back of each ear cup, which can be controlled and personalized via Epomaker's proprietary driver software, available exclusively for Windows. The headset represents Epomaker's continued push into the gaming audio space, offering a budget-friendly entry point with a combination of wireless connectivity, noise cancellation, and adjustable lighting.
