CPU-Z 2.21 adds AMD Radeon RX 9050 and EXPO-ULL memory profile support — four months after the last update

On August 18, 2026, version 2.21 of the CPU-Z diagnostic utility for Windows was released. The previous build, CPU-Z 2.20, came out in May 2026. The new update fixes previously discovered bugs and errors, while the application's interface, which has remained largely unchanged for over two decades, stays the same.

Key additions in CPU-Z 2.21 include support for the AMD EXPO-ULL SPD memory profile, as well as compatibility with AMD Radeon RX 9050 graphics cards based on the Navi 44 architecture. The update also introduces preliminary support for the Lisuan 7G100 GPU.

Earlier, CPUID warned that between April 9 and 10, 2026, attackers gained control over an additional API on the official website of the developer of CPU-Z and HWMonitor utilities. For about six hours, some users were served links to infected files instead of legitimate installers. Antivirus software identified these files as trojans designed to steal data.
