Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) leak reveals redesign and six color options

The next generation of Bose's flagship noise-cancelling headphones has surfaced in official press renders ahead of its announcement. The leak, published by OnLeaks and Hoteudeals, shows the design, color lineup, and several features of the upcoming model.

According to the leaked images, the Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) will come in six finishes: White Smoke, Black, Dewdrop Mint, Rosewood Mauve, Eucalyptus Green, and Hazelnut Taupe. Some of these may be limited editions that won't be available at launch. For reference, the original QuietComfort Headphones debuted in September 2023 in three colors and later gained five additional options.

The design has undergone notable changes. The headband has been redesigned, and the power button and Bluetooth switch have moved from the back of the right earcup to its bottom edge. The microphone grilles remain in place. The images also show a USB-C port, volume control buttons, and a multi-function button on one of the earcups.

As for features, the leak confirms QuietControl ANC active noise cancellation, TrueSpatial Tech spatial audio, and softer synthetic leather. The headphones will keep the foldable design of their predecessor and will ship with a carrying case.

No release date has been announced yet, but given that the first generation launched in September, speculation points to a possible announcement in the same month this year. Additional details, including pricing and full specs, may surface closer to the official unveiling.
