Casio’s new Kanoa Igarashi watch with Polar heart rate monitor hits US stores for $370

Casio has officially launched the GBX-H5600KI-5 watch, a collaboration with professional surfer Kanoa Igarashi, in the United States. The model is now available for purchase through Casio's official website at a price of $370.
This marks the fourth time Casio's G-Shock line has partnered with the Olympic silver medalist Igarashi — a rare occurrence in the company's collaboration history. The design of the GBX-H5600KI-5 draws inspiration from Ericeira, a Portuguese surf town that serves as one of Igarashi's home training bases. The watch features a dark brown marbled casing with lavender accent text and hues. A signature of Kanoa Igarashi sits below the watch display, while his WSL bib number "50" is printed on the bio-based resin strap. The timepiece ships in special ocean-themed packaging.
According to Casio, the carbon fiber-reinforced resin case back of the GBX-H5600KI-5 is 18 grams lighter than that of the previous model. Practical features include Polar-powered training analysis, blood oxygen measurement, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, Tough Solar charging, and a tide graph function. The watch also supports the Casio Watches companion app, which enables automatic time adjustment and additional features.
The watch offers world time across 38 time zones. Other Casio-exclusive features include a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, four daily alarms, a battery level indicator, and water resistance up to 200 meters (20 bar). The collaboration continues Casio's trend of combining sport-specific design with advanced health tracking technology, targeting surfers and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable performance in demanding environments.
