Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis gets Before Crisis Chapter 2 with Turks and familiar faces

Square Enix and developer Applibot have released the second chapter of the Before Crisis adaptation for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis on PC, iOS, and Android. The update, titled Turks Offensive, is now available from the main story menu across all supported platforms.
The chapter continues the story of Aphromia, the older sister of Turk Elena, and fellow operative Rodd, who first appeared in the previous installment Turks Business. The characters operate under senior Turks Reno, Rude, and Tseng as Shinra's Investigation Sector escalates its response to the original Avalanche. Series antagonists Fuhito and Elfe drive the insurgent campaign against the corporation, setting the stage for the group's early conflict.
Turks Offensive also weaves in crossover scenes featuring Aerith, Tifa, and Yuffie. According to the publisher, these episodes avoid major spoilers and are meant to tie the crisis storyline more closely to the main game's events, giving players additional context about how these characters' paths first crossed with the Turks.
The release is part of Square Enix's effort to condense the original episodic structure of Before Crisis into three chapters. It also marks the first official English localization of the story, as the original game launched only in Japan in 2004.
The chapter arrives as Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis approaches the end of its service. Square Enix has confirmed the game will shut down on October 6, 2026, with the third and final Before Crisis chapter expected before that date.
