Bluesky lets you hide reposts from specific users and auto-numbers threads

Bluesky has introduced a feature that allows users to remove reposts from a chosen person in their feeds. This update will be useful for those tired of constant reshared content from one of their followers, which clutters the news feed with irrelevant posts.

To use the new option, open the profile of the person in question, tap the three-dot button, and select "Hide reposts in feeds." A similar setting has existed in the social network X for some time.

In addition, Bluesky has launched a beta feature that automatically numbers posts within threads. For long discussions, this could help readers quickly gauge how much material they are about to read and saves authors from having to manually add figures. A similar capability is found in Threads, Meta's social platform. You can enable the new option in Bluesky's settings.

Both updates aim to strengthen user control over their feed and improve navigation in discussions. The company has not disclosed any other upcoming interface changes.
