Baseus PicoGo Pro AE22: a 45W charger with a screen and a 60W boost mode for $20

Baseus has unveiled a compact 45W charger called the PicoGo Pro AE22 in China. The adapter features an integrated color display and can briefly deliver up to 60W in a special boost mode. The device is priced at 129 yuan, roughly $20.

The built-in screen shows real-time charging parameters, can automatically detect some connected smartphone models, and displays an estimated time until full charge. The display also shows various animations during the charging process.

The PicoGo Pro supports a wide range of fast charging protocols, including USB PD 3.2, PPS, AVS, UFCS, Quick Charge 3.0, and Huawei FCP. It is equipped with a single USB-C port, which is unusually placed on the side of the charger's body. The power plug is foldable for easy portability.

The main competitor for the Baseus charger is the 45W Anker Nano, which also has a built-in display. However, the Baseus model is cheaper and offers a temporary power boost to 60W, giving it an edge in short bursts of high-speed charging.
