Baldur's Gate 3 mod adds a 6-hour Astarion campaign with four endings and six new companions

The modding community has delivered a substantial new piece of content for Baldur's Gate 3 — a mini-campaign called A Dream of Silence ReVamped, centered entirely on the fan-favorite vampire elf Astarion. The mod takes approximately six hours to complete and is divided into three acts that were originally released separately over the past year. With the release of the third and final act, the entire story has now been packaged as a single, cohesive experience.
The plot unfolds inside Astarion's mind. The player character is projected into his consciousness to help him escape the grasp of a Bastellus — a living nightmare that feeds on dream energy. To break free, the player must accompany Astarion through a twisted, nightmarish version of Cazador's dungeon, all while the Bastellus controls the dreamscape and tries to trap them both.
The campaign features four distinct endings, giving players meaningful narrative choices. It also introduces six entirely new companions to interact with, expanding the roster of characters beyond the original game. Each of the three acts has a different structure: Act One is heavily dialogue-driven, functioning almost like a visual novel, while later acts shift toward more traditional gameplay.
The mod is based on a text-based game of the same name created by developer Abigail Corfman. It is fully compatible with the current version of Baldur's Gate 3 and available for download. Notably, Larian Studios has officially stated it will not develop any further expansions or DLC for the game, leaving all new content to the modding community. This release demonstrates the continued vitality of the game's modding scene, offering players who have exhausted the base game a fresh, story-rich adventure.
