Asus ExpertBook P3 G2 Gets Intel Core 7 Series 3, Up to 64 GB RAM and Dual SSDs

Asus has unveiled the ExpertBook P3 G2 in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, now powered by Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors. The announcement follows the launch of AMD-based versions in January 2026, expanding the company's business laptop lineup. The new models join the previously released ExpertBook B3 G2, which also comes in two screen sizes but offers a different set of hardware options.
The top configuration of the P3 G2 can be equipped with an Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor, though Asus has not disclosed specific chip models or clock speeds. The laptops support DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0 SSDs, with a thermal design aimed at maintaining stable performance during extended workloads.
Memory capacity reaches up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM via two SO-DIMM slots. For storage, the laptops feature one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot and one M.2 2230 slot. The second slot comes with up to 1 TB of storage from the factory, but users can upgrade it to a maximum of 2 TB. The primary M.2 slot supports SSDs with capacities up to 2 TB as well.
Both the 14-inch P3406CMA and 16-inch P3606CMA share a uniform design finished in Misty Grey. Asus claims the chassis meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards for military-grade ruggedness. The keyboard offers 1.5 mm of key travel, and the touchpad is larger than that of the previous-generation model.
Security features include Asus ExpertGuardian, which provides a BIOS compliant with NIST SP 800-155, TPM 2.0, and five years of BIOS and driver updates from Asus. A nano Kensington lock slot and a one-year McAfee+ Premium subscription are also included.
Asus promises long battery life and fast charging support for the Intel configurations, but has not disclosed specific battery capacity or estimated runtime figures. Pricing and availability for the ExpertBook P3 G2 have not been announced yet.
