Ukrainian co-op shooter DDoD hits Xbox and PC simultaneously in 2026

Ukrainian studio The Future Entertainment Company has announced that its cooperative roguelite shooter DDoD will launch on Xbox consoles at the same time as the PC version. The news came during the Ukrainian Games Festival, which runs on Steam until August 24.

Set on the outskirts of the Purple Lands, a closed experimental industrial region infected by a sentient substance known as the Fog, DDoD plunges players into a dangerous yet charming world. The creatures that inhabit this territory are deceptively cute: if you let your guard down, they will eat you alive.

The game supports both solo play and co-op for one to four players. During missions, teams must share loot, revive fallen allies, set up ambushes, and argue over who should venture into the Fog when the batteries run low.

DDoD offers a wide range of equipment and weapon modifications, including scopes, suppressors, and elemental damage mods. The world features diverse locations such as military outposts, secret laboratories, and underground tunnels. Players will also manage battery-powered defensive devices and face off against groups of deranged locals.

Dubbed one of the most anticipated Ukrainian games of the year, DDoD crossed 100,000 wishlists on Steam in June. A demo is already available for testing. The early access release is scheduled for 2026.
