SilverStone ALTA T2 super tower targets AI workstations with 11 PCIe slots and dual PSU support

SilverStone has officially introduced the ALTA T2 super tower chassis, designed for multi-GPU workstations and high-density AI compute. The case was first shown as a prototype at Computex earlier this year and has now received a full specifications reveal.

The chassis is built from 3 to 8 mm thick aluminum and measures 260 x 732 x 660 mm with a 125.6-liter volume. The ALTA T2 supports XL-ATX, SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, E-ATX, ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. For graphics cards, there are eleven PCIe expansion slots, and GPU clearance goes up to 411 mm; a dedicated holder keeps heavy cards in place.

Cooling uses a vertical chimney airflow layout, accommodating up to three 420 mm radiators, two large 180 mm intake fans, and several additional fan positions. A distro plate mounting bracket is included for custom liquid cooling loops.

Storage support covers 5.25-inch, 3.5-inch, and 2.5-inch devices, with the drive cage featuring a fan mounting system. Power comes from a dual-PSU arrangement: the primary unit can be ATX or 2U CRPS, while the secondary is a standard ATX. This setup suits kilowatt-class systems where a single power supply lacks headroom.

Front I/O includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and a combo audio jack. Pricing for the ALTA T2 has not been announced yet.
