Samsung Galaxy S26 FE leaks with 4900 mAh battery, 7-year support — launch set for August 27

Details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE have surfaced through a European energy labeling leak, revealing key specifications and performance ratings. The device received an overall "A" rating, with 50 hours of battery life, an "A" for drop resistance, and a "C" for repairability. The 4900 mAh battery is rated for at least 1200 charge cycles before its capacity drops below 80%, and the phone offers IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to launch in early September, following the pattern of last year's Galaxy S25 FE debut, though some sources point to August 27. It will reportedly run on the Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 or 256 GB. Wired charging support remains at 45 W. According to rumors, the processor and a new ultra-wide camera sensor may be the only significant upgrades over its predecessor — the battery capacity is said to be identical.
The camera setup includes a vertically arranged triple rear module: a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The front-facing camera is 12 MP. The phone is also expected to receive seven years of software support, aligning with Samsung's long-term update policy for its FE series.
