Redmi Watch 6 Active launches with 1.85" AMOLED, Bluetooth calling, and 18-day battery for $50

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Watch 6 Active, a budget-friendly smartwatch aimed at users who prioritize a large display, long battery life, and an affordable price point.

The new wearable features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with slim bezels, making it one of the largest screens in the Redmi watch lineup. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, ensuring good readability even under direct sunlight. The watch body has a minimalist modern design, and the interface runs on Xiaomi's HyperOS, providing smooth navigation and seamless integration with the brand's ecosystem.

In terms of health and fitness tracking, the Redmi Watch 6 Active supports over 140 sports modes, continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) tracking, sleep analysis, and stress level monitoring. It also includes guided breathing exercises and daily activity statistics.

A standout feature is Bluetooth calling support. Thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker, users can make and receive calls directly from the watch when connected to a smartphone. The device also carries an IP68 rating, making it resistant to dust and capable of withstanding temporary submersion in water.

The smartwatch is powered by a 470 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, battery life reaches up to 6 days in Always-on Display mode, up to 12 days in standard usage, and up to 18 days in power-saving mode.

The Redmi Watch 6 Active is currently available only in China at a price of approximately $50.
