OpenAI replaces revenue chief after nine months — ex-Wiz president takes over sales

OpenAI has reshuffled its leadership again, replacing chief revenue officer Denise Dresser just nine months after she took the post. The company has tapped Dali Rajic, former president of Wiz and current chief operating officer, to lead its sales organization.
The move is part of a broader shakeup that took place last month, when chief operating officer Brad Lightcap and Fidji Simo, who served as executive director and CEO of the AGI division, both left the company. Co-founder and president Greg Brockman expanded his management role following Simo's departure and announced Rajic's appointment in a blog post on Tuesday.
Rajic joins OpenAI from Wiz, the cybersecurity firm that Google acquired this year for $32 billion — the largest acquisition in the tech giant's history.
In his post, Brockman praised Dresser's work, saying she led the revenue organization during a formative period for the business and worked tirelessly to build the team to where it is today. Rajic's mandate, he wrote, is to turn what the company has learned into repeatable execution as OpenAI builds out a full-scale system to make artificial intelligence broadly useful for people and businesses.
"Denise led our revenue organization during a formative period of our business and worked tirelessly to get the team to where it is today," Brockman wrote. "The ways we bring this technology to market are changing quickly. And Dali has the challenge of turning what we have learned into repeatable execution as we build a full system to make AI broadly useful to people and businesses."
OpenAI says its products are used by more than one billion active users and two million companies on a weekly basis. The company has been rapidly expanding its enterprise business, competing with the likes of Anthropic and Google in the race to sell AI tools to businesses.
Rajic's appointment signals a continued focus on scaling OpenAI's commercial operations, particularly in the enterprise segment, as the company seeks to convert its massive consumer reach into sustainable revenue growth.
