Motorola’s Moto Snap leak: first Qi2 charger for Edge 70 Max with 25W wireless charging

Smartphones with magnetic charging support remain a rarity, with the Apple iPhone being the most prominent example. Motorola recently introduced the Edge 70 Max, its first smartphone to officially support Qi2, including the Magnetic Power Profile (MPP). This enables the device to work with magnetic accessories such as camera grips and tripods, and it can be charged wirelessly at up to 25 watts. The magnetic ring on the back aligns the wireless charging coil precisely with the charger's coil, aiming to make charging faster and more efficient.
Reliable leaker Evan Blass has now published the first images of Moto Snap. Based on the photos, this appears to be the first magnetic Qi2 charger that Motorola will offer itself. The design is fairly standard: a white, braided USB-C cable combined with a metallic charging puck. The side that connects to the smartphone features the Motorola logo. The charger has a slightly beveled edge with a purple accent, setting it apart from the Google Pixel Snap and Apple MagSafe charging cables.
The release date and price of the Moto Snap have not yet been announced. Technical specifications are also undisclosed, but it is safe to assume that the charger will support at least 25 watts of charging power to fully utilize the capabilities of the Motorola Edge 70 Max.
