GTA 6 leaker won't stop until Rockstar apologizes for 'anti-consumerism' — and warns of more attacks

The individual or group behind the massive Grand Theft Auto 6 leak, operating under the alias Cyberleek, has released a manifesto explaining the motives behind the attack. Cyberleek claims they will not cease their activities until Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive issue a public apology for what they describe as "anti-consumerism" and make a "concrete commitment to do better."

The manifesto outlines a series of grievances against the gaming industry. "Publishers sell licenses and call them purchases," the document states. "They ship unfinished games and call them living services. They lock content on discs and call it DLC. They kill games and keep the money. Every year anti-consumerism tightens its grip, and every year gamers get less for what they pay."

Cyberleek has also established three "commandments" that publishers must follow to avoid being targeted: no digital pre-orders, no "fake" single-player DLC (meaning content already present in the game data), and mandatory offline fallback modes for single-player games. The group warns that any publisher violating these rules will face sanctions. "Cyberleek will not stop until they issue a public statement and apology with a concrete commitment to be better. Words are not enough; restitution is required," the manifesto reads.

In addition, Cyberleek revealed they are "raising funds for a secret project," presumably through the sale of a memecoin. The funds, according to the statement, will be "directed toward the infrastructure needed to strike, as well as the security and protection required to withstand the inevitable corporate counterattacks." The group did not specify the next target but hinted that more actions are planned against companies that fail to comply with their demands.
